Perched majestically on the elevated banks of the Sangha River, at the threshold of the Central African Republic’s Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve, Sangha Lodge stands as an iconic gem in the world of African safaris. Its reputation as a safari legend is well-earned, offering a rare blend of adventure, comfort, and unparalleled access to some of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences on the continent.
Nestled within its own exclusive concession, Sangha Lodge provides privileged access to the world-famous Dzanga Bai, affectionately dubbed the “village of elephants.” This unique clearing in the heart of the forest is a gathering place for hundreds of elephants, as well as a host of other wildlife, creating a spectacle that is both humbling and awe-inspiring.

This exceptional region offers an unparalleled opportunity to witness these gentle giants up close, as they go about their daily lives deep within the dense, pristine forests of the Congo Basin.
